    Limestone pounds St. Andrews

    JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- The Limestone wrestlers pounded the St. Andrews Knights, 41-11, in the first round of the East Coast Wrestling Duals hosted by the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown on Friday evening.

    Limestone's Matt Hall (Hamptonville, N.C.) picked up an 8-3 win over Kyle Craver in the 125-pound weight class. Matt Ross (Chicago, Ill.) won by forfeit in the 133-pound division, while Riley Pike (Alexander City, Ala.) pinned the Knights' Gabe Ortiz at 1:20 to win the 141-pound class. Dustin Baynes (Liberty Twp., Ohio) got an 11-1 major decision over SAPC's Bryan Seal, and Dusty Leutz (157 lbs./Naples, Fla.) won by forfeit. The Saints' Todd Neptune (174 lbs./New Concord, Ohio) pinned Will Harcum at 2:40, while Dan Scanlan (Leesburg, Va.) also got a pin over D.J. Chverchko at 0:52. Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C.) won the heavyweight class with a 15-4 major decision against Charles Robinson.

    Limestone continues competition at the East Coast Duals tomorrow. At 9 a.m. the Saints wrestle AIC and will also take on the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Limestone will also wrestle Shippensburg at 3 p.m.
