Lewis, Stevens to go 'On the Mat'

1984 Olympic champion wrestling Randy Lewis and veteran wrestling announcer Sandy Stevens will be radio show guests this week.

“On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum and can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Central time on AM 1650, The Fan. Feel free to e-mail radio@wrestlingmuseum.org with any questions or comments about the show.

Randy Lewis was a two-time NCAA champion and four-time All-American at the University of Iowa. He won the freestyle gold medal at 136.5 pounds at the Los Angeles Olympics.

Sandy Stevens is a journalist by trade. However, most people in the wrestling world know her from her over 40 years of announcing high school, collegiate and international wrestling dual meets and tournaments.
