    Kriegbaum named WWC Wrestler of the Week

    CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The Air Force Academy's Jake Kriegbaum has been named the Western Wrestling Conference's Wrestler of the Week as announced by league officials.

    Kriegbaum, a senior 141-pounder from Abilene, Kan., went 2-0 over the weekend to lead Air Force in a pair of WWC dual meets. Kriegbaum registered victories over a pair of 20-win wrestlers, first registering a 4-2 decision over North Dakota State's Gabriel Mooney on Friday evening. On Saturday, Kriegbaum picked up a 16-5 major decision over South Dakota State's Adam Everson to help the Falcons to a 26-10 win over the Jackrabbits. Kriegbaum has now won 10 of his last 11 matches and improves to 20-11 overall and 4-0 in the WWC.

    The Western Wrestling Conference is comprised of seven schools including the Air Force Academy, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Utah Valley State and Wyoming.
