Harvard (3-1, 1-1 EIWA) wasted little time, jumping out to a 16-0 advantage winning the first four bouts. Juniors Nolan Hellickson and Ryan Friedman set the tone early at 125 and 133 pounds, respectively. Hellickson claimed a 7-0 decision over Edgar Garcia, while Friedman picked up a technical fall (15-0) over Dan Martoccio.
Sophomore Hunter Ladnier (149) won his second straight match, picking up a technical fall (21-6) with a dominating performance against Sam Butler. Grabbing his 10th victory of the season, Ladnier has come out on top in three of his last four matches.
Senior captain Josef Johnson (174) picked up his 18th win of the season, battling Diplomat Josh Young to a 3-2 decision. Fellow senior captain Kanon Dean (184) earned a major decision over Steven Mercadante, while senior Logan Kirby also picked up a major decision at 197 pounds.
