Finn is currently the editor of Wrestling International Newsmagazine. He was awarded the National Wrestling Media Association's Journalist of the Year for 2006. Finn will be providing a live update of the Junior Nationals, which are being held in Fargo, ND.
Finley was the head wrestling coach at the University of Oregon for 27 years before retiring in 1998. As a wrestler he competed on the 1964 Olympic team and was an NCAA runner-up in 1963.
University of Oregon Athletic Department announced on July 13 2007, the addition of Varsity Baseball and Competitive Cheerleading program, and the discontinuation of the Wrestling program. Finley is currently the Save Oregon Wrestling Director.
"On the Mat" is a weekly wrestling radio program that airs every Wednesday night. This week's broadcast can be heard live from 6-7 p.m. Central Standard Time. The Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum in Waterloo, Iowa, hosts the show.
