The Warriors beat N.C. State 21-17 and Anderson 26-9 but lost to Appalachian State 23-10.
Smith won 4-2 at 165 in the N.C. State match, helping the Warriors overcome an early 7-0 deficit to the host Wolfpack. Sullivan followed with a win at 174, Dave Williams had a second-period fall and Deighton won via forfeit for an 18-7 ESU lead. Alex Bimes won an 8-5 decision at 141 for the final Warriors points.
Mark Smith (157) had a first-period pin in the win over Anderson while Keith Smith won a decision, David Sullivan (174) won 11-1, Nick Woodward (184) won a 4-1 decision, heavyweight Adam Karasevicz battled for a 6-4 win and Swallow coasted to a 14-2 decision at 125.
Keith Smith won 4-1 in the loss to Appalachian State and Deighton won 5-3. Swallow scored a 10-2 major decision win.
The Warriors are now 6-5 and will wrestle at Rutgers Wednesday at 7 p.m. and host Navy Friday at 7 p.m.
