It was senior night for the Vikings and the Dana seniors ruled the mat. Marshall Marquardt (SR Altoona, Iowa) dropped his opponent hard to the mat for five takedowns before scoring the pin. No. 1 ranked Willie Parks (SR Garden Grove, Calif.) followed suit at 184 pounds. Parks scored five takedowns in the first period. He won by tech fall in seven minutes. Senior Blair Alderman (Spokane, Wash.) scored his tech fall in 6:40 at 197 pounds.
The match of the night looked to be at 149 pounds. Dana's No. 6 ranked Anthony Haukenberry (SR Buckley, Wash.) faced No. 2 ranked Brad Stockton. The match went into overtime and Stockton was victorious 7-5. That match was Waldorf's only win in the dual. Their other three points came from Dana's forfeit at 141 pounds.
