It is a series of tournaments that have evolved over the years, as Senior Nationals was the first event and now there is one for each high school class, along with a middle school and a girls division. Before the explosion of "national" tournaments, NHSCA Senior Nationals was the big postseason event to hit. Almost on par with Fargo in the summer. Now, with more options and high schoolers quickly transitioning into the international styles for a shot at the Cadet and Junior World Team Trials, the event has lost its luster a bit. Even so, there were still plenty of high-quality wrestlers that toed the line and battled through some huge brackets. Below are student-athletes that have committed or signed to wrestle at the collegiate level and broke into the top-eight in Virginia Beach.
