Abe Assad (Glenbard North, Ill.), the nation's No. 35 senior recruit, gave a verbal commitment to the University of Iowa on Monday. He made his announcement on Twitter.
Many people have supported me along the way, and I'm excited to share that I'll be staying in the black & gold. I've decided to peruse my academic and athletic goals at the University of Iowa.
