"This was a no-brainer for us to bring on Jamill and include him into the Carolina Wrestling family," Scott said. "He brings a brilliant wrestling mind as well as a unique perspective in the sport of wrestling with his background. His success on the mat speaks for itself. He's also an elite coach and will be great to have in the room."
Kelly wrestled at Oklahoma State from 1997-2000. He served as the USA Cadet World Team Coach from 2013-15 as well as a USA Junior World Team Coach in 2016.
"I'm extremely excited to join Coleman and his staff at UNC," Kelly said. "His vision for the program not only athletically, but culturally is something I'm grateful to be a part of. UNC is a great place and environment for not only myself professionally, but for my new family."
